Hand-made leather shoes since more than 100 yearsThe founder of the family at the end of 19th century moves from the native Tuscany to Modigliana and continues with his sons the profession of the shoe maker.
The son Luigi, called Gigi got ahead with the shop on the small market square with three workers. The brother Romolo walked round the country to satisfy the requests of the clients at their home. At that time the salary was in beans, patatoes, wine and flour… it was still the time of swapping. In 1982 Giuseppe Valli (the great- grandson of Romolo) takes again the family activity in the historic centre producing handicraft shoes and belts with care and love of the exclusive details of “Made in Italy”.
